World Water Day is observed on March 22 every year.  This day is held to bring attention to the importance of the earth’s most precious natural resource.  Many take freshwater for granted but many cannot.  Think about how many things we do in our daily life that revolves around water, not just water for drinking but cleaning, food production, transportation, power generation, worship, recreation, fire fighting, the list goes on.  Twenty years ago World Water Day was proposed at the United Nation Conference on Environment and Development as they thought about the importance of water.  Below are some interesting facts you may not know as you keep water in mind today. WAYNE Pumps Green Pump Gets High Ratings in HANDY Magazine

Look for the WAYNE Pumps  new energy-saving sump pump in the August/September 2010 issue of HANDY Magazine, where it received a 95% approval rating after a product test. HANDY is the official magazine of The Handyman Club of America (HCOA), which selected 20 of its members to test the revolutionary new pump. Members rated the WAYNE ¾ HP Submersible Stainless Steel/Cast Iron Sump Pump for durability, ease of installation, performance and convenience. Members were pleased with the quick set-up and flawless performance after heavy rains. They also gave high marks to the iSwitch technology, finding that the lack of moving parts that can get hung up was a huge plus.  “I would recommend this sump pump for it’s ease of setup, efficiency and quiet operation,” said HCOA member Terence King of Cresskill, NJ.   “One of the best features is the new water level sensor.  No moving parts!”
